Simon Potvin is a recognized expert in physical security, operations management, and strategic leadership.
Founder of Hagal Sécurité, he is driven by a clear mission: to transform the complexity of security operations into sustainable processes and systems that protect people, empower teams, and align with his clients’ strategic objectives.
His experience
With over 15 years of experience in both military and civilian security, internationally and in Quebec, Simon has led teams of up to 2,000 security officers in critical contexts — including during the military coup in Myanmar, where he directed the operations of a security company under extreme pressure while maintaining a 99% client satisfaction rate.
He also served as Chief of Security at the Université de Montréal, protecting more than 80,000 people across five campuses, and has led mandates for embassies, hospitals, public institutions, and high-risk industries.
